veEDIS Clinical Systems Achieves ONC Certification HIT 2014 Edition
Date: January 21, 2014Plantation, Florida - veEDIS Clinical Systems, LLC proudly announced today that veEDIS v2, its proprietary Emergency Department Information System (EDIS), has been tested and certified under the Drummond Group’s Electronic Health Records Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB) program. This EHR software is compliant in accordance with the criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Stage 2 criteria was designed to facilitate more coordination of patient care, reduce medical errors, eliminate of duplicate screenings and tests, and create greater patient engagement.
As a 2014 Edition ONC Certified Health Information Technology, adoption and meaningful utilization of veEDIS will help clients to successfully attest and demonstrate to Meaningful Use Stage 2, which means real, bottom-line financial incentivize for veEDIS clients.
